PIB9850與IIR投料比對微交聯(lián)型MS密封膠性能的影響聚異丁烯系列材料的分子結構決定了其氣體擴散系數(shù)和氣體滲透性較小,具有優(yōu)異的氣密性,適宜作為密封膠。中分子量的聚異丁烯結構單元與丁基橡膠相同,故與丁基橡膠基體有著極佳的相容性,混合容易,不會相分離,模量小于丁基橡膠,且只有端基含有雙鍵。硫化時,聚異丁烯只會在末端與丁基橡膠主鏈發(fā)生接枝或與其他聚異丁烯的雙鍵禍合,不會形成交聯(lián)結構。因此,在丁基橡膠基體中添加中分子量聚異丁烯,能夠增強MS密封膠膠料粘性、降低MS密封膠膠料模量的同時,可控制MS密封膠膠料雙鍵含量從而調(diào)整交聯(lián)密度。
本節(jié)主要討論的便是中分子量聚異丁烯PIB8950與丁基橡膠的投料比對MS密封膠膠料性能的影響,實驗配方詳見表2-5。如圖1-3和表1-3所示,PIB9850投料比的增加不僅降低了最大扭矩MH,且降低了最大最小扭矩差△M。中分子量聚異丁烯分子量小于丁基橡膠,且飽和度高于丁基橡膠,因此形成了MH和△M都隨著中分子量聚異丁烯配比增加而下降的現(xiàn)象。
輪胎自修復MS密封膠涂敷于輪胎內(nèi)側(cè),而輪胎內(nèi)面膠通常為丁基橡膠或鹵化丁基橡膠,聚異丁烯類材料作為基體,與之具有很好的浸潤性,因此聚異丁烯作為自修復MS密封膠的基體與內(nèi)面膠的貼合性會比較理想。由于分子量較丁基橡膠低,分子鏈末端活動性強,更容易在接觸面發(fā)生穿插和纏結,故聚異丁烯可軟化MS密封膠膠料的同時增強MS密封膠膠料表面粘性與吸附性。www.kubee.cn
