耐溫性能與熱脹冷縮適應性。高層建筑幕墻面板受日照影響，溫差變化劇烈。結構MS密封膠應具備寬廣的使用溫度范圍C-40}900C)和優異的彈性恢復能力，以應對頻繁的熱脹冷縮，防止因溫度應力引發膠縫開裂或失效。
勃結強度與剪切力抵抗能力。尤其在隱框玻璃幕墻系統中，結構膠直接承擔面板荷載的傳遞作用，必須具備足夠的拉伸勃結強度()0.9MPa)和抗剪切能力，以保障結構安全。
