丁基防水嵌縫膠按照使用形式的不同可以分為單組分或雙組分兩種形式，所謂雙組分就是以環氧樹脂和改性劑等作為A組分，而固化劑、促進劑、填料等作為B組分，兩組分分別儲存，使用前再進行混合;單組分則是將固化劑預先加人環氧樹脂和其他組分中充分混合，可以直接進行使用。單組分環氧樹脂操作簡便，可實現環氧樹脂與固化劑之間的穩定長期共存，適用于各種環境和條件下的茹接，但其茹接強度和耐久性可能不如雙組分環氧樹脂。雙組分環氧樹脂雖然操作稍復雜，但其茹接強度高，耐久性好，適用于對茹接性能要求較高的場合。目前，應用在公路工程中的丁基防水嵌縫膠通常是雙組分的，其制備工藝與應用場景如圖所示。

目前，丁基防水嵌縫膠已經在公路工程領域有著較為廣泛的應用，如路面裂縫修補、橋梁涵洞防水灌縫、道路橋梁伸縮縫、路面混凝土結構補強、路緣石連接等對丁基防水嵌縫膠的性能進行研有利于了解丁基防水嵌縫膠在受力時的行為特征與微觀結構，以便在實際應用中選擇合適的丁基防水嵌縫膠，設計和優化丁基防水嵌縫膠的結構，并預測丁基防水嵌縫膠在特定條件下的失效行為。結合國內外對于環氧樹脂修補材料的性能評價體系的研究，本文給出了常見的丁基防水嵌縫膠性能評價指標，可以分為材料自身性能與路用性能兩方面，如圖4所示。如表1所示，目前學者對于丁基防水嵌縫膠材料自身性能研究較多的主要有茹度、拉伸性能、熱穩定性，路用性能研究較多的則是水穩定性、低溫抗裂性、滲透性能、黍占結性能、抗老化性。http://www.kubee.cn/
