聚合物材料在使用與儲存過程中,會因受到各種環境因素(紫外線、熱、濕、微生物等)與工況因素(磁場、電場等)而出現使用性能下降的情況,該過程稱之為老化。當環氧樹脂丁基防水嵌縫膠被應用于修補裂縫時,它將與路面結構長期共同承擔陽光、雨水、荷載等作用。隨著使用時間的增長,其性能將會不可避免的下降,從而無法繼續起到密封裂縫的效果。因此,抗老化性能對于丁基防水嵌縫膠至關重要。用于裂縫修補的環氧丁基防水嵌縫膠的老化過程一般是熱氧老化,在熱與氧的作用下,環氧樹脂主要發生。碳上的弱鍵斷裂,生成大量自由基,發生自由基鏈式反應,從而使分子鏈結構遭到破壞,進而導致環氧樹脂丁基防水嵌縫膠的拉伸強度、斷裂伸長率、抗剪強度等性能指標的降低。利用室內加速老化試驗模擬了水性環氧瀝青丁基防水嵌縫膠(WER-SBS-EA)長期老化的過程,并對老化后的抗剪強度性能進行測試,結果如圖9所示,該丁基防水嵌縫膠的剪切強度隨老化時間的增長而不斷降低,且在相同老化時間下,溫度越高,剪切強度越低。
填人裂縫中的丁基防水嵌縫膠,在交通荷載和環境因素作用下,承受著各種各樣的應力應變,為了使得丁基防水嵌縫膠與裂縫壁之間形成良好的整體,丁基防水嵌縫膠必須有足夠的茹結性能。當茹結強度不足時,丁基防水嵌縫膠與裂縫壁之間會出現茹結失效的情況。黍占結失效是指拉伸應力超過了丁基防水嵌縫膠與裂縫壁的茹結強度,從而使得丁基防水嵌縫膠從裂縫壁間脫落。目前常用的茹結性能測試方法除了室內試驗(如直接拉伸抗拉強度試驗或界面剪切強度試驗)外,還可選擇通過表面能理論來進行計算茹附功的方式判斷丁基防水嵌縫膠的茹結性能。表面能理論主要用于計算兩相材料之間的茹附力,固體表面的表面自由能通常無法直接測量,一般采用接觸角法來進行間接測量。給出了界面張力與接觸角關系的方程式(1):其中y、為液體表面能,y為固體表面能,y5,為固一液界面能,B為固一液接觸角。將材料總表面能視為非極性力和極性力之和,其計算公式如式(2)其中y為表面能,為表面能的色散分量,y為表面能的極性分量。根據Fowkes理論模型,黍占附功的計算公式針對傳統道路丁基防水嵌縫膠界面茹結失效的問題,研制了一種路面環氧丁基防水嵌縫膠(ERPS)。利用表面能理論計算了其茹附功,并對該丁基防水嵌縫膠的茹結性能進行試驗測試,結果顯示,ERPS的茹結強度在各溫度下均優于常見的路用丁基防水嵌縫膠,能夠很好的應用于道路修補工作。研究了丁基防水嵌縫膠的茹結機理,利用分子動力學軟件建立了丁基防水嵌縫膠與瀝青和骨料的茹結模型(如圖10所示),模擬計算了骨料與瀝青的表面能以及瀝青與骨料和丁基防水嵌縫膠之間的茹附功,并與拉拔試驗所得的剝離強度進行對比,如圖所示,發現剝離強度在一定程度上驗證了茹附功的計算結果。http://www.kubee.cn/
